Raum was unmaintained for quite a while now. I've seen this coming. Let's hope BM is able to incorporate most of the data, after all the page is still actively developed and maintained. The recently added info to Raum might be tricky to extract, the archive.org mirror is not interactive, it's only snapshots of the page. In worst case we have to enter everything again

Btw, my own tiny mat database is still up and well, but I think most people looked for maps and spots at raum.

Yes, maps were the key....I have downloaded jpg's of them that are several years old but all they show is the little green dots, no "mat name" popups when you hold cursor over them. I am surprised that it went out so fast as I know that harv was in contact with them and they were updating mat locations for the tower building / supply event.

Hopefully Harv or someone can reach one of the site owners and grab the info.

its a sad time.. i used that website on a daily basis... id be happy to host this website (im sure many others would also).. just need details.. anyone have an email? contact?

I checked about a half dozen of the backups there....none had the maps.

I saw the announcement of imminent demise.

So, I took JPGs of the maps with the greendot mat locations and I also copied the html source for each map thinking if I was desperate I could decode the X,Y coordinates for each of the mat popups.

I can send these to anyone who is serious about making the info public again.

even a non-roll over map is good... i could just print it out and grab a sharpie, fill it all in.
