We don't need missions to help us level skills!

Come in, pull up a chair, let's discuss all things Ryzom-related.

We always advised ryzom as the only one now with a real crafting system that have a meaning, even with not ready-made recipes. It's one of the strongest point of the game and you want this screwed up?
Providing that the awards were held at a low level i.e < q150 I don't see how anything would be "screwed" as they have limited usefulness.

In fact, in another post i said that the quests are not bad, but if they are going to do the same for higher levels, it would be wrong.

People are not much worried of the quest lines just patched in, but they are worried of the possible direction the devs could follow.

And I just defined the difference between the 4 npc raids and eventual normal quests rewards. So, don't confuse an answer about a specific sentence with anything related to the actual quests patched in.

After looking at the jewels, kinda happy you can only do the quests once. That's one of the things that, even if it is reminiscent of offal like Wow, I am still thankful for. There is also the fact that while you can't make stuff like that at those levels, the fact is, the player made stuff is better, not to mention easier to replace.

LOL!!!! Armor rewards????

I guess I was right to unsub.

I have about seven days left on my account.

I just want to say it was a pleasure chatting it up in Uni with you guys, It's been fun. If I wanted to play a Mission based game that gave me better rewards than crafted items I would be playing WoW.

I have a bad feeling these devs are pushing Ryzom more and more into a Item grinder type MMO and thats not my deal.

Yay for overreacting people... Your departure will make Ryzom's forums look less like AoC's.

Until now I only did the level 30-50 missions of all cultures, and some are good, and some I don't like. I am not very fond of the 'go and kill the thief' kinda missions, which are always hard explain why they are repeatable.

I do like the fact that goo infested creatures found their way into the game, but I don't like THAT SOME INFEST MY PRETTY DARKMOOR! (just kidding of course ;) )

So the rewards for those missions are fine, the amounts of cats given could need some balancing, while the Burning Desert missions already are okay.

I think these missions are most fun when done in teams, and they lead you to pretty places all over Atys that were seldom visited. And imho the real rewards are not what you get on completion of the missons, but try them yourself. I fear I already told too much.

I will try the level 50-100 missions next. The items Acridiel showed us don't comment until I saw all of the four cultures.
