*kitin patrols and customizable text on crafted items are still the newest thing since last year
*we will be letting banned accounts back on as to get thier money. we are fully confident they will be banned again once we strain some cash out of them
*we have provide an entirely ridiculous number of payment methods...as we have indicated in the past..this is partially due to us underestimating the intelligence of the players...we are banking on this for sure you dummies
*we dont want to take donations right now..we dont want to look desperate as is common knowledge in game
*please pay and play for a while so winch gate property ltd can do damage control and shut the game down eventually

Do I really look like a guy with a plan? You know what I am? I'm a Gingo chasing Mektoub. I wouldn't know what to do with one if I caught it. You know, I just ... do things. The Kami has plans, the Kara have plans, God's got plans. You know, they're schemers. Schemers trying to control their little worlds. I'm not a schemer. I try to show the schemers how, pathetic, their attempts to control things really are.

I could sit on Yelk hill for a hour, watching gingos preying on rendors, occasionally resurrecting some hopeless guys who happened to randomly run into Arken's camp. It's my home.
Alot of us were like this and I am very thankful for this experience. I had the best time in my (gaming) live in Ryzom. But after almost 5 Years now, it is very hard to motivate without any real teasers. I think most of the people complaining here, have supported this game for many years now and still do.

All they want is a clear step forward and the introduction of one of the planed projects would surely convince alot more then "pay and wait for a suprise".

ryzom is the ****t...but it doesnt change the fact that they need to add more ****..and i highly doubt these people were working without pay..that is ridiculous

try to see further than 5 feet in front of you...i see these types of things coming...so dont get mad when youve been paying for a year or whatever without anything new and they announce a shutdown...i promise not to straight up own your ****** thread when your crying over your dead ryzom client
jwojaguar venting anger... like this will get you zip on these forums...its funny if anyone needs to get a life its you by the looks of this.

I think it would be a very uphill battle to try and have an active story line with meaningful player roles on a free to play server. I am trying to look at this as day one, of the reborn Ryzom.

One that we already now has a much better grasp of the code then anyone has for years. Do I expect to be as engrossed as I was years ago...no not really, but it has been a very long run already.

I do get the impression WG is very sincere about the game, I just have no idea about what direction they intend to go, but I will subscribe and if they are lucky forget to cancel until my card expires.
