Unless something happens on my end, financial wise, I doubt Ill be back. :(
:( Nasty coincidence. Good luck with your financial situation.

There should be a feature to gift subscriptions. Not that I have money for any more than my own, but others do.

I'm sure something was said in the past about about those with remaining sub time getting it, although I guess that may have changed.

It was a particular handful of people, primarily, and their objects of desire either never materialised or turned out differently than they wanted. I expect those pie-in-the-sky features to remain nonexistent forever. Spiderweb would be silly to re-promise the same things and/or commit to fantastical new projects that inspire the veterans and prospective players alike but would probably never reach fruition, or at best wouldn't arrive in a timely manner.
I dont think fixing the rest of the rites missions and the compass crash bug is pie in the sky stuff ...comon cant theses problems be fixed 1st , shows how much the Devs , take notice , i mean to say who cared about desertstock and now in Demons Lap , ya need an army just to dig a few KLs ... makes me want to cry , seeing a top game like Ryzom dying a long and slow death ,...Atys ... R.I.P ...

They did simple serverside things to test the patching system, rather than attempt to birth important clientside fixes right off the bat. Settle down.

Ryzom has a very complex codebase, and you really can't expect "adopters" to hit the ground running with sweeping changes. I think everyone who has ever played Ryzom would love to see a handful of nasty problems fixed ASAP, but the new devs absolutely have to be given time to feel comfortable with code changes. If that doesn't happen, the players will see patches that break more than they fix, rollbacks, and certainly a general lack of anything resembling progress :)

Give them a chance, you know it's the fair thing to do :) The game is not yet dead or ruined, and the time for frustration is surely later...

WOW give them a chance.... lol ive given them more than one ,and the game is nowhere near been fixed .....well if you guys want to sign up for a year .. go ahead , but iam sure that you will be the 1st to complain when the game dies again and you have been robbed of 6 months of game time and money ........lol for god sake the raid engine is stuffed and they dont even know how to fix it ...man you guys are blind or something . saying that the codes are this and the codes are that, if they cant fix it in the 6 months that they have had it , iam telling yas it aint going to happen.. i have been playing since beta , i know beta lol .. iam not signing up for a doomed game what a waste of money... its like buying a car with only 3 wheeles lol oh well , thats my 2 cents worth .. there not getting my hard earned , for a sub standard game with a **** load of bugs in it that may or may not get fixed ...... Good Luck ..yas will need it :)

The above poster uses large words and large sentences, so the information can easily be lost in all the rhetoric. I have translated his post so that you don't need to be a English Lit major to full understand his points:
helomax wrote:Wow! give them a chance? You have to be kidding. I've given them more than one, but the game is far from finished.

If you guys want to sign up for a year, go ahead, but I'm sure that you will be the first to complain when the game is shut down 6 months from now and you are robbed of the second half of your sub.

For God's sake, the raid engine is broken and they don't even know how to fix it ...man you guys are blind or something . Saying that the code is complex and that they need to time to evaluate it and determine a course of action is silly. If they cant fix it in the 6 months that they have had it, I don't believe it is going to happen. I have been playing since beta, and I believe that my opinion is therefore valid when I say the game has some serious flaws.
I am not signing up for a doomed game. What a waste of money! That would be like buying a car with only 3 wheels. That would be silly!

Oh well, that's my 2 cents worth. They are not getting my hard earned dappers for a sub standard game with a rather large number of bugs in it that may or may not get fixed

Good luck, homins. I believe you will need it!
