Ticket Bugs

Well, it's official, the Kami will not allow me to purchase transport tickets from them. I spent 2 days trying everything I could to get the kami altars to sell me bloody transport tickets. No I did not forget to look up at it, nor did I forget to ctrl+space click it, no I did try moving far away from it and getting up close to it. I also have higher kami fame than most others in my guild who can purchase tickets. I contacted a GM ingame about this, and he kinda blew me off telling me to visit karavan instead, and that he sent my bug report up the grapevine. I find it odd that with high kami fame and negative karavan fame I can buy tickets from the karavan but not the kami!. Also Karavan dealers are often in dangerous areas that have a 50% chance of death before getting back to the town you purchased the ticket for. Anyone else having this prob? or am I alone in this?.

I buy Kami tickets every day, at which altar specifically are you having problems buying tickets? What are your personal and global Kami fame levels?

There are many alters, Kami and Karavan thruout Atys that to not dispense tickets. Are you taking about every Kami alter or specific ones ? I am not sure if certain alters have different requirements or are just broke, the locations the broke ones are typically in lead me to believe that the dev's just haven't gotten to them yet. Same with some spawns along in Tryker, alters in roots & Nexus... Otherwise I have yet to have a problem getting tickets.

These are kami altars in the big cities that others can purchase tickets from, Pyr Dyron Thesos.

There is a bit of a quirk with them... stand below them... look up and use CTRL-Space to target it... right click and "Buy Teleport Ticket".

This has been corrected in Patch 1 from what I have seen. I was able to purchase a Kami ticket and I am -41 personal Kami fame. If they work for me, anyone should be able to get them

Thanks for the tip, but as I stated before I have already tried that and it was no worky. Glad to see this has been fixed in patch 1 though, I'm tired of having to run back to town while my guildies are all waiting for me.

What is the exact problem - your first post is a little vague about this.

Are you not able to target the altars? Perhaps you have the kami selected instead of the altar - if you see a missions option at the "altar" you have the wrong target.

Or do you have the correct target selected, but the altar displays no "buy teleporter ticket" option?

I can target the altars but they display no "buy teleport ticket" option.

Maybe fixed in Patch one if the shard ever comes up.. But the Kami in oasis will sell a ticket that does not work.. 12k - poof .. Hehee Tried 2 times now, so untill fixed don't buy one from that cheepskate.. =P
