New Ppl's coming to the mainland!

Looks like a few of us are graduating to the mainland in a few days (Can we get this trial thing off my title plz, thanks!) ,but we are all different races. I'm a matis and I believe I also have a Tryker and maybe a Zorai.

From what Ive read moving to someone else starter village will doom your digging? Or will it hurt if we pick a different town than our own?

oh yea and if someone could point me to these "cats" I keep hearing about....

Welcome to the green planet! You can start anywhere of the major cities. Some say it is easier to start in your racial land because of your fame and race crafting plans, which required the materials of your racial land, but once you get trek you can forage the land for the plans you have. You can also learn the plans of the other races. It really doesn't matter where you start. The best place to start is where your friends are going, which helps you to team and level together.

About cats: You don't have to join a faction to get them, you need to join a guild that has an outpost, because outpost generate the catalizers. There are several quality outpost which produce these cats q50, q100, q150, q200 and q250. They can be used to dlb your XP and only for skills under the quality of the catalizer. I'd be happy to help you and your friends with some q50 cats when you get to the mailand, look me up or a member of Veni Vidi Vici.

Not exactly the case, since many guilds without outposts are able to acquire catalyzers through other means.

In any case, cats are an addictive drug which add nothing to your enjoyment, just the speed at which you have to go find some other place to whack plants to keep getting the maximum possible XP for whacking the same plants over and over again.

I HATE hearing people say they are logging off because they are out of cats. Why are they logged in if they aren't enjoying what they're doing?

A good team will do you more good than cats, and add immeasurably to your enjoyment of the game.
