for a very annoying reason, my client wants to patch the game...with patch 637, from the 20 august 2007....

of course and just to annoy me, patching fails...and i'm unable to launch the game

(background downloader is off tho...)

any idea how to annihilate that ******...annoying little patching problem ?

The French programmed a game that likes to corrupt. Unlucky.

Probably. Checking the client.cfg might be worth a try though. If it's empty, copy the data from the default one.

try to delete all files in unpack folder

And, if you are running Windows Vista, you can copy your Ryzom folder outside "Program Files"

Geni, try finals client, downloads pretty fast and installs in only a couple of minutes too.

Nobody has had any problems with it.

that problem was with me when i see packets loss by my internet provider one week ago... client was repatched 610-637... working atm without reinstall

client has already brought somewhere to himself a mark "that patches are necessary to you"... maybe you just must give him chance be repatched?.. =)
