I noticed almost right away that the lore was missing when the new webby launched.I can't help but notice now seeing so many new homins wandering around aimlessly.
You can harvest some nodes and craft some boots.Fight some yubos and throw an acid or heal. But why?Noone has a clue why were all here, unless you have been here since before they revamped the webby.
Other than TPs and spawns without the Lore there's no real reason to pick 1 side or the other when it comes to factions. To my knowledge there are still a few Homins that really enjoy RP.Without a story to base the RP on,and in turn when most are allready acustomed to the current story that's been removed,it causes a breakdown in the immersion(if I can steal your word from another post Faa

).
Please, please, please, please, please, please, please whoever is reading this that has any control over this Living Planets history and Lore, put our delicate and intricate Lore back in the webby.Give us some hope that The Saga has not been reduced to just a static environment with random mobs and factions that is to be known as Ryzom.
Most of the reason why I'm here is the fascination with the story and how our involvement changed our planets history(aside from all the great people I've met along the way).If this is not to continue then my time here will most likely go the way of the Dodo bird.
Was a time long ago when Homins stepped foot on the Mainland from the relative safety of our respective islands and were faced with no mechanical sides to pick. We marched forward and forged our places in the planets history as Homins. Not Karavan or Kami. Though many placed their allegiances to 1 side or the other or none at all. Then came the Temple wars and were forced to choose. Many faced that challenge baseing their judgement on values held by the respective races and factions they most felt akin to.Alot of feelings were hurt and people left, some people stayed and felt a greater bond to their avatar as they had finally been given the mechanical choice to pick the side they most felt allegiance. All of these decisions in 1 way or the other ( though some out of friendships) were decided by the Lore and how each of us viewed each of the Races and Factions.
How do you know where your going, if you don't know where you've been?
