Ryzom wont start

I installed Ryzom and was able to play yesterday. Today it just wont start. I see client_ryzom_rd.exe in the process list of the task manager but CPU=00, disk is doing nothing so it seems to hang.

Here is what I did so far:
Killed process and tried again (several times): No luck
set compatibility to Win XP SP2 No luck (yes I did remove the setting later)
Uninstalled the game, Reinstall the game: no luck
Since I am running VISTA I followed the Vista trick: move to user folder No luck
Uninstalled the game, cleaned registry, install the game on another disk in \Ryzom: No Luck
Updated my video drivers: No Luck
After updating the video drivers Uninstall, install: no luck
O and it is not running minimized.

Vista Home Premium SP1
Intel Quadcore Q6600
2GB RAM
NVIDIA GF8000 GTS

Update: After a lot of minutes (I did forget to kill the process) the game suddenly popped-up. and I could connect. But than it froze after a few minutes.

Well since nobody can help me I will uninstall the game and leave it.

sorry knom, your problem seems unexplainable, you pretty much did what everyone here wouls ask you to do.
