I have to agree, tayster... Necro66 started to troll the boards some hours ago (NA AND German Boards). I am sure someone will take care of him in the next hours. ;) in the meanwhile i got a new signature, thanks to necro! ;)

But swayzo, Do you Believe!!
I want to, but it is getting difficult...had 2 RL friends quit already and one who left at end of beta. If these next patches don't sit well with the majority of players, what chance does Ryzom have? I'm not trying to be negative, I really love this game!!! Hopefully the 14 day trial after the patches are in [and patched as all patches must be since the beginning - amen] will bring in some more players who will see the joy in the complexity [freedom!] of making your own custom actions, the opportunities to learn to do anything/everything - given enough time - instead of being locked into artificial classes, the fun in choosing your own path and not being forced to be a cleric/mage because all other choices are "gimped". Hopefully the second patch will bring in guild stuff for those who want it. I'm not guilded but I want to see SOMETHING happen with the outposts.

I want to believe again!

We are all waiting for the second coming to renew our beliefs.
Hopefully it will have the encyclopedia and lots of storyline etc in it.

Everyone I've gotten to know in game plays the game and loves it, with no real desire to quit. I've seen some of it in Tryker, but realistically, almost all of the quitting (90% without actual quitting) are here in the forums. This format simply draws all the normally existing negativity out of a large group of people. Who else out there has been around for a long time and knows exactly what I'm talking about? :P

This thread wasn't even necessary, IMO. Beware forums unless you want paranoia :P

I wish anyone who goes and plays them the best of luck, I hope ya enjoy it, but don't tell me I didn't warn you when ya come crawling back.

I can say that about a lot of games actually.

I want to believe. It's easy to believe in Ryzom actually, mostly because for whatever reason, I have infinite patience to wait for things to be implemented.

What really drives me nuts and will probably drive me away is the fact that Ryzom is very cliqueish, no one openly groups. Everyone plays with their guild and seemingly if you aren't in that guild you can pretty much FO. I hate this attitude.

The way it is now, you *have* to join a guild to group because if you're not in their guild, then you're not helping *them* with their goals. Damn. It's not about fun at the moment. It's about having slaves that forage and craft to keep up with demand.

Just how it feels to me. I am more interested in Ryzom than any other about-to-be-released titles, but if people don't open up I'm going where people group.

*crosses fingers for Ryzom's playerbase*
