So, is it really impossible to sell or reset your skills?

I'd dearly love to do that, since I made some choices on Silan for certain quests, that I wouldn't have made if I knew it was permanent and that the only use I'd ever have for it was progressing in that quest.

You'll get enough SP after a bit of leveling, and at some point you would've bought those skills anyway.

Yes to your question. However, you cannot permanently 'nerf' your character, as another 10 skill points are only a level away. The only thing you will have lost is perhaps a bit of time, nothing more.

If it absolutely drives you nuts, make a new character. An extra 1-3 days now won't matter if you plan to play this game a long time.

Three months from now (if you REALLY are still brooding about those lost skill points) you'll think an extra day or two is nothing. Plus you could make a char of a different race so that you can try out two different mainland starting areas.

And you'll whiz through Silan much faster the second time since now you understand better how the game works!
