very new and already stuck Harvesting quest

I just started the game yesterday and I think my Harvesting career has come to a dead end at Quest #3.
I've been instructed to get the "Prospect Fine Materials" which I did. I have to collect 5 Fine Sarina seeds, 5 Fine Hash Amber, and 5 Fine Mortega wood.

I have gone to the location marked by the pink arrow,l and am searching everywhere within a 50m radius (more than 50m seems to yield nothing at all)

When I use the Fine Prospecting skill, I get one of the folowing 3 results.
"No materials here"
"Raw materials of a different class..." etc.
"Fine Sarina seeds".

I tried yesterday for 3 solid hours, gave up, tried again today for 2 more. and I have about 30 Sarina seeds and nothing else. Clearly other people have been able to complete it so there must be something I'm missing. What else do I need to do, or where else do I need to go, to find the right materials?

many people have trouble with this quest it seems...

i am not ingame now due to RL reasons(if i was i would glady show you exactly where you need to look for both the hash amber and the motega wood. Best i can do from here is this....

in the area your guided too there is a group of mushrooms (slighty to west of where arrow points actually), if you start by the southern most mushroom and head in a roughly SSE direction towards the 2 tall trees you shud find the amber near to the mushroom, and then seeds, and then the motega wood further from the mushroom. i usually just put myself right next to that mushroom and then direct myself straight at the trees and just prospect across that line and usually by time i get to end of line i have whats needed for the quest.

I found all three items about 30m SW of the marker, so double check in that area.

Also, if you do find one, flag the spot on your map so that if you wander very far from there you have a point you can come back to where you KNOW the items are close by.

It can be frustrating sometimes because you are never sure if you are in a wrong spot, or if someone else before you cleaned out the area/ I am also not sure if on Silan, time of day and season can be factors for fine grade mats.

Basically, Harvesting seems to require a certain amount of stubborness at the start. It gets better/funner as you start having a lot more skill options as you continue.

Which specific mushrooms do you mean mashed? The place is FULL of mushrooms.

Also, how do I mark the map?

there is a group of 3 moushrooms and you want the southern most of those 3 ( west of radar pointer location )

and marking landmarks is as easy as right clicking on map and marking current location

Right click into the map and you get the choice to put a flag at the location.

You need to be fairly methodic for this quest, and it helps if you team up with people that are also doing the quests, more pairs of eyes the better. I always start at the north end about 33 m of the flag and work my way down, there's actually a few different spots for all the mats, I know for sure there's 2 hash amber veins for example, one near the cliff closer to the flag and one at 33m away from the flag on the East.

I have the hash ember flagged on my map in case someone needed it, I'm Eshay in game if you need help. And If I'm still on Silan, which at the rate I'm going is very possible.

I found the wood and the amber on a little rise right near the edge/coast of the island, a little way south-east of the flag marker. The wood is right up near the edge, the amber is near it, a bit lower down and closer to the flag.
