The Shades of Zora...
Okay here's the basic premisis for this RP
The characters are in a guild called the Shades of Zora... based in Zora ((For the exceptionally thick headed)) They basically do shady secret work for whoever pays them... the Karavans, the Kami, the Matis, the Zorai... you name it!

Mostly spying, trading in illegal goods, but some assasination and theft as well
Re: The Shades of Zora...
Well we've had Fyros and Tryker mercenary guilds, but never a Zoraï one I think. Could be interesting.

(( You can read back through the old posts to get some examples; a lot of people used the form of journals or letters to share some of their experiences as OOC knowledge, others write stories and histories here like you have. Do whatever suits your style and have fun! ))

From the Amber Journal or Fen-eriz (Feneris)
Most never imagine I am anything more then a harvester. I look ordinary. I go out into the jungle to forge for materials during the day, and return to my guild at night. I bear no elaborate mask painting, or extravagant (and painful) mask inlays; not even the fancy mask additions some Zorai clip to their hair. The only thing out of the ordinary about me, is the long horns on my mask, something few Zorai have.
No one suspects I am involved in anything shady. The merchants smile when I come into their stores to sell the goods I made that night. To them, I am a harvester and novice craftsmen. To them, I belong to a respectable trade guild, that offers local forging, crafting, magical, and armed services for a reasonable price.
They have not idea what we really do...

Re: The Shades of Zora...
Ahh, forum RP? Well we usually... don't?fenerismoon wrote:so how do you usually RP on these forums?
Most RP on these forums is in the form of people sharing stories they've written, much like your "The Crafter of Zora". When an 'open to all' RP thread pops up, it's usually meant as a support for ingame RP, and goes by the usual rules. See a recent example [thread=31908]here[/thread]. An actual completely forumbased RP with multiple participants is rare here, and never seems to last long.
Anyways, if it's your intention for people to contribute, make it clear what you expect.
