It's all the persons style of game play, I love the ring, have spent hours on hours playing around in it.
But...
1. People don't want to make there own content they want devs/gms too provide it in events or updates (some of the gm's can spawn items? could hold some quick daily events, give out something like a stack of cats or something, nothing too big, just something quick easy and fun, like first person to find me gets some free cats, or whatever. To add a little excitement)
2. Most would rather level then have a reward less scenario. You will find this true to a vast majority of players.
3. You can't insult these type of players, it's how they play just a differing view point doesn't make them wrong, or shallow.
4. Why haven't the ring lovers made a kitin raid type event then, sense it's what most people want? I been working on one for our guild newbies myself, taking forever to get it to work perfectly . Not to hard to set up a bunch of timers to pop kitins to attack a town at intervals though. I'm sure a more adept ring creator could manage something easily .
