Game Crashes after hitting connect

Post by xrand0mx »

I've connected once the whole time trying to log onto Ryzom. 99% of the time the game freezes and crashes when I type in my name and password and hit connect. Are there any fixes for this? Is this a known issue? Like I said I was able to connect once to create a character (that was after constant log in crashes). But since then I can not connect. I have tried almost 20 times with the game just freezing up when I hit connect.

Hard to say without extra info, perhaps a bad install?

Please post your PC specs.

I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling and still the same problems. I'll try redownloading in the future (college limits bandwidth >_<). It just seems strange that it worked once after multiple freezes and now it doesn't work at all.

Error Code 62 is the client recieving an empty answer from the server - unfortunately this indicates that your college may be filtering or blocking the connection. Please consult with them to ensure that the ports required are available and there is no other filtering occuring.
