Hi there Jon. While judging from the time this post was put on the forums we would almost certainly not catch each other online save for when one of us was unable to sleep (like me, right now).

I just wanted to say hello and welcome to Ryzom. I really hope you enjoy your time here and I'm sure that as soon as you're in Silan (the starter island that you will find yourself on when you first create a character) you'll find other players to team up with

To find a nice Team you better ask in the so called "Region Chat" once you arrive on the (starter) Island of Silan. There you´ll find people in about your level-range.

If you´ve got any questions regarding the game mechanics don´t fear to ask nicely in Universe-Chat, or look to these boards. Many FAQs have allready been answered here.
