Its a nice feeling to see so many players at Silan !

Post by browserice »

Yesterday just for the fun of it, I had decided to create a new playing character named SilanHealer. I was thinking to use it for when there would be enough new players at Silan to help them out.

Well I had a nice gentle warm feeling as soon as I logged on to Silan. Blue spots everywhere on my radar !!! There were a whole bunch of players in Silan. I had not seen this in a while and it felt good.

I started cranking up my magic skills and helped a few people by healing them back to 100%

Having so many players in Silan like this is a good sign. Thank you oh mighty owner !!!!!

Still thinking about doing a full 3d rendering of Fyros (call it Ryzom 3.0 if you like).

Agree with Jacko.

I spent the last few days on Silan discovering it since I had never been there before :)

I have to wonder what percentage of the newbs hang around when they get to the ML? Seems rather low in our guild..but mebbe thats just us. How about the rest of you? Good retention or not?

Whoops I see I have to change that sig. :)

We've had a great bunch of new folks join our ranks, and the majority have stayed with us so far. However, we generally don't just invite random people, but rather spend some time with them before deciding on whether to invite.

I think many guilds have similar ideas. (Some just take applications, and don't really recruit at all, but we're maybe not famous enough for that.)

That isn't intended as a criticism of your guild or any guild, I have no idea how your guild goes about recruiting. Probably you've just had a stretch of bad luck. It happens. Hopefully the ones who stayed are great additions to your family.
