hi ^^

finally i can try ryzom !!! , was the only mmorpg that didnt have the oportunity of trying !!

well now my questiosn ^^

1- How i can invite ppl? other than selecting and invite...???? can i type /invite Nick ....?

2- how i can buy ranged weapons? =S i only see melee weapons in the vendors =s , crafting ? what about bullets? there are bows in this game?

3- There is any guide about "creating spells" is an awesome idea but confuses me so bad =/

4- I need to do all the "newbie" quests in order to leave the island? there is a quest that ask u to find a team huh? =s , and a quest that (melee quest) ask u to find mobs around ruins walked and died a lot (>< black dog of death!) trying to find it , still no luck =S

5- no jump right? =S

6- Battle Pets exist?, how when where? =D , summons?

7- Mounts - see pets ^^

1. Invite is used when creating teams. A team can be up to 9 members, including the one creating the team. /invite <name> is correct.
2. Range weapons are only available at mainland, and the Range Weapon merchants.
3. The idea is to create a spell that use optimum amounts of sap/hp, whichever you got most of. You can also use range and time credits. Range and time means you can reduce the amount of sap/hp.
4. You don't have to do any of the quests, but they give you good knowledge about the game mechanics, and also give you good xp, and some dappers too.
Some of them gives you armor and magic amplifiers. (Neither is craftable on silan)
5. No jump, unless using /alert none :)
6. No battle pets, sorry..
7. There are mounts which you can ride, and packers where you can store mats etc.

Creating an action (whether it's a spell, a melee attack, a crafting action, or a harvesting action) consists of three essential steps.

1. Choose the type of action. You will be able to learn more of these from trainers as you progress.

2. Select the options for that action. For example, the type of elemental spell, like acid, or other options like additional damage, or AOE, etc. Again, as you progress you will learn many different option stanzas.

3. Select credits to pay for the options in step 2. Each option has a cost, which must be paid by something. Credits can be range, time, HP, sap, stamina, etc. depending on the type of action. Again, you will acquire more stanzas here over time.

The beauty of this is that you can fine tune your actions for the situation. For example, if I am using elemental spells in a hunting team and someone will be healing me, I can apply lots of damage options and pay for it with HP and sap which my healer will be replenishing. Then later when I am hunting solo I can change the options so that I do not run out of HP so quickly and end up dead.

Learning to tweak your actions takes time and experience and experimentation. Just try it and see what works for you.

Also, when you buy new stanzas from a trainer, you can better understand what will help you the most, and so you will not waste skill points on things you don't need immediately.
