A friend of mine (Buddy program) keeps getting this error message and can't get in. Does anyone else have this problem?

Error: you can't use the client application 'ryzom_live' (error code 53)

This usually means he didn't complete the billing portion of account creation properly. This process is made more difficult by a non-intuitive credit card protection offering during sign-up.

There was no Billing info i.e credit card number request or the such during the sign up process for the buddy program. Only thing they asked for was the subscription number key thingy.

That's surprising since after the free trial Nevrax will attempt to auto-bill a credit card unless he opts out.

Sounds like something is amiss with the process.

Hmm. means my friend can't get a 14 day free trial then. How lame. Now i'm not sure if he wants to PTP cos he said if a simple process such as this is buggered up what else could be next?! lolx
