What do people think about keeping all your char details but having the levels reset to 0?

TBH I'm not so bothered about having a wipe now. With us high levels around we can help any brand new homins and it means that the same hunting spots won't be as badly camped. Newcomers also get to join a world already in progress with guilds and intrigues set up from day one.

I would like a wipe of all mats , cats and gear , op ownership also.

Levels should remain as it is. Coming back to uber rich guilds, flooded with mats and cats sounds a bit boring. Nothing to do for old players. It is also bad for new players cause they always get everything on a silver plate. Wont keep them very long in game.

Anyway if i need to choose to wipe or not i would go with wipe .

Seriously, getting gear back would keep us a bit busy without asking for new content. Boss hunts and mats wars would be fun. OP wars using poor gear would be fun too.

This isn't a realistic place to get a general concenses or non-biased opinion. Alot of these people have relied on those that came before them to get where they are and have little respect or care for anyone but themselves.

They are a small few that are the majority on these forums that aren't thinking in terms of benefiting the future of the game and are only concerned about how it will effect them.

The server is better off wiped when the subs start. Wait for the subs/forum access to hear the people that agree..

I personally feel that people that want a wipe of level/gear/op's etc are people that have no further goals in Ryzom, but because they loved the game so much they want something major done that will 'force' them to come back and grind again.

Before the game re-started I was actually for a wipe. I thought it would give me something big to do that would pull me back into the game. I soon realised though that if you have had enough of Ryzom the first time, nothing (even a wipe) would bring back the fire you first had when everything was new. I've managed to find new goals in the game now though and am happy that there is still some fresh uncharted game for me to play as I realise that anything like a wipe (which would certainly bring back the competitiveness to be uber first) would never fill the need to experience completely new things in the game and therefore keep me here for the long foreseeable future
