What did you miss?

While playing Ryzom before we had to leave, I was afraid for good, I hated digging. I just did it because I had to to grind crafting. Turns out that was one of the things I ended up missing the most. Along with the kipee howls, which used to irritate me to no end. Missed seeing the ringed planet reflected in the moonlit waters of Fairhaven, Zora in the winter, night time in the desert. But most of all, I missed the friendliest and most excellent community on the net. Love you all! So glad to be home

I missed the digging in Dyron and the random rez runs to rescue a blown up homin.
I missed the cats invading the guildhall and the weekly wellfare distribution of marshmelloes.
I missed the Plod and Shalah parties In void and the... Scorched Corridors, is that it ?
I missed Uni chat that is quite unique to this game.
I missed my wacky guild chat and harvest parties.
I missed being able to heal any random homin that passes by, not just your group, raid or guild.
I missed the affordable and huge inventory (yes huge... especially compared to Age of Crappy inventory managing) and the fact that items you put for sale don't cost you a bank slot... and the fact that the guild bank is actually bigger than my appartment storage...
I missed the fact that sneaking around requires actual skill and knowledge of aggro ranges... no cheap stealth BS.

I missed the FREEDOM... never, ever going to play a game with class-based non-customizable skills stuck on cooldowns even more restricted by a limited number of available feat points. BLEH !

I missed the harvesting and crafting (duh) because click and wait is dumb as hell and static recipe based crafting depending on 1% droprate ingredients is ridiculously stupid. The fact that crafted items all look the same just add to the general feeling of... wrong.

And... I missed the outpost battles. Sieges that work even with full graphics on. Priceless.

Oh my - digging. So many times have I pined for the Prime Roots - seeing a pesky kincher mincing it's way over to my freshly popped sup spot. *sigh* Those were the days. And VOID. How I miss Void..... With the crazy region chatter and the gubani.....
