Bandan's mace hit the floor with a thunk as she leant it against the wall with as much indifference as though it had been a yubo she had just killed, and not another Homin. Well, she wasn't sure if she'd killed him or not, but that was an awful lot of blood on that mace, and she could swear that was a bit of brain matter poking through the guard's hair. Across the room, it looked like Teoh was about to be sick.

"Well, that's the last one down, I believe," the Fyra said with a satisfied grin, shaking loose her hair and running a bloodied hand through it before tying it up again, "Help me get his armor off, would you?"

It took slightly longer than they had expected to finally peel off the last of the guard's armor and stow it away, what with Teoh acting unusually jittery.

"You're gonna have to apologize to me again for that one," he said as they packed up the last of the Matis's weapons into a seperate bag. Bandan winked him, and then hoised the bag over her shoulder after having changed into some cleaner, unstained clothes.

"You're going to need to carry the body." She nodded at Teoh, and kissed him on the cheek when he looked at her in horror. "Don't worry, I'll make this apology a good one. Now come on, Nightblade needs this armor and we can't afford to be found at the scene of the crime. Pack up the body and let's hope we can get out of Yrkanis unseen ...and for the sake of the Gods, Servelan, please put some clothes on!"

A few hours later, back in Pyr, Dzaiur dropped off the last bag of armor to Nightblade at the forge. He was busy chattering with the Zessen Family. The fourth set was handed over to Aeseus Zessen, and the deal was complete.

You see, it wasn't widely known, but Aeseus had connections in the Matis Royal Family - and he helped run his own underground ring. Those 4 guards stationed outside the Botany Room? His. every one of em. One of em's even a Fyros! But he didnt have any Male guard uniforms - until just now anyway.

With the deal clenched, Nightblade decided it was time to hand out the flyers. the Tournament was a go!

Sasi strolled through the paths of Yrkanis, blissfully ignorant of the secret mayhem happening around her. She wondered what had become of that guard that always flirted with her. Well, *one* of the guards that always flirted with her... These guys seemed to have some kind of "thing" for Tryker girls. Not that she minded the attention.

It was just another beautiful day in the forest. Sasi looked up at the trees swaying in the gentle breezes, reminded of why she had left her home in the lakelands. Little did she know what the next days would bring...

Dear Homins,

The Underground Tournament is back, and this time it's better than ever! The rules are a bit more complex this time, so make sure to study them carefully! Anyone breaking the rules will be disqualified at Nightblade's say-so.

-- RULES --

Tournaments will be Best of Three. each two homins will duel three times a piece.
Between each fight, homins are allowed to switch up their armor and their weapon. but NOT DURING A FIGHT.
NO SPELLS ALLOWED
NO Kami/Kara Gear at all (shields/skirts etc)
No weapon may be used more than once.
Each homin is REQUIRED to use Daggers in one of the duels.
You may use ANY power you have at your disposal (invuln/SelfHeal/Auras/etc)
You may use ONE ENCHANT during the 3 duels. (See Edit 11)
The homin that gets hit by the enchant should call out that they have been hit.
A homin that uses more than one enchant - even 'on accident' WILL BE DISQUALIFIED!
NO nuke-enchants allowed.
OP Weapons are OKd
Every homin MUST BE in Parry-Mode at all times. (See Edit5 below)
NO ONE is to heal the fallen duelist except for Nightblade or Dzaiur.
NO leaving the room if you are in a duel

Only Bucklers Allowed - NO SHIELDS!

EDIT 1 :: If a homin loses after second match, and has yet to use his or her daggers, then that is that
EDIT 2 :: NO teams. (so as to not interfere between auras) the two homins in Duel will be teamed with Nightblade and/or Dzaiur (seperatly) in order to confirm this.
EDIT 3 :: I will NOT TAKE a "i didnt know" if someone breaks the rules. the rules are here. Read them and know them well. Anyone breaking the rules will be disqualified at MY DISCRETION. Anyone trying to 'suck up' because they will be disqualified - will be disqualified (dont try it.. )
Edit 4 :: NO DATE has been set yet. i will allow an unspecified amount of time for all homins to level up what they feel they will need, and gather their equipment. then the tournament will take place.
EDIT 5 :: Pistols are the only weapon allowed to be in DODGE mode (because of limitations)
EDIT 6 :: Of the three duels. Each homin must /tell Nightblade what 3 weapons they will use for that bout of three duels. Competitor A will choose Their weapon first for round 1. Competitor B will choose their weapon for round 2. and the last weapon is stuck for round 3.
EDIT 7 :: All Gloves must be Medium Armor. (upping number of MA parts allowed to 3)
EDIT 8 :: Pistoleers may not run around. Stand and fight only.
EDIT 9 :: No leaving the room O.o
EDIT 10 :: Sword/Dagger Combo is allowed. However this will not waive the requirement of using daggers in a duel. you must still use the daggers in another bout.
EDIT 11 :: No Fear Enchants

This will still be a go once the servers are up - assuming everything is as we left it.

I'll give extra time for all of everyone to get accustomed to their own characters again, but then it's back to this setup here.

NOTE:: i might have to change the rewards (notably the sehraci-based armours, because i'm not sure if she'll still be able to donate?)

EDIT :: i realize the rules are a pain in the ass confusing - sorry - but i tried to clear out every "maybe and what if" that i could think of. Revised the rules a few times with several players, and i think these are more or less fool-proof. It's really not all that difficult, let me know if it's too confusing and i'll rewrite em.
