But I loved the politics, while in game. But I know some people took it a little to far. Seriously, some "karavan" members wouldn't even guild with me on WoW (after Ryzom). *pout* (I'm mad that still hurts my feelings).

I predict that some people wont be able to let go of old feelings, while some people will just be happy to play with old friends. (Cause most of us were friends before the "faction" divide).

Its really hard to say. It will all depend on what the new owners decide to do. While yes I will cringe at restarting, Im not totally opposed to it. That said, either which way it goes I will be making an attemt at Rebuilding the Dragons of Shadow.

Hmmm, predictions. If there is a character wipe and outposts are kept in game, I am fairly certain there would be very little roleplay based presence in the OP wars. The more lore based guilds could/would not compete with the botters and 24/7 power level guilds. I think it would quickly become another Cho. In a couple months the terms Karavan and Kami would have even less meaning then Shirts or Skins.

If there is a wipe and the OP’s are removed, a total reset to the storyline. I really hope that race would become much more important, possibly even overshadowing faction.

If the game comes back as is, I suspect the politics will be pretty much unchanged. Meaning, flames aren’t going anywhere.

In fact, they have already started.

I'd prefer factions, races, tribes, bandits and kitins as real powers in Atys world and homins/guilds working on them on their behalf (except kitins)

And random resources spots are sweet sweet sweet - makes sence of prospection then still can find easy digging for grind levels but need to work realy to get special mats for precise recipes

ive thought about this for entirely too long...in conclusion...i dont think it matters what happens.. does it? we will have ryzom back and that is the important thing..

i have learned a lot going through the last days of gameforge ryzom. so many people showed such devotion and love for this game. i have made so many friends kami and karavan a like, on english, german, french servers.. didnt matter who you were or what you were about.... there were no boundaries at such a time... i think thats something important to remember.. the boundaries in this game are made by us.. as long as we all are in the game playing.. if we wipe or press "power-on" things will happen the way they do.. jerks will be jerks.. nice people will still help you.. and of course ill still hump you while your AFK.
