Fasi started as Kara and switched to Kami during EP2. He had high scores on both sides.

Ah, good times, bad times; still I had a lot of fun working both sides as a merc (tho no one could beat good ol' Rashan at that; or was it Rashun his alias back then? :p ) and then work on the Tryker Kamist temple for the sake of equal opportunities inbetween, which sadly was only a mere % away from completion. Looking back I doubt it would have made any significant impact; it's not like it did on the other servers where one faction had more temples than the other. *sighs*

The craziest thing was watching Jyudas getting such high scores for foraging why he loathed it more than anything else, even beating Aaj and Neva iirc.

Shame it costed the game a large chunk of it's population. But what do you expect when substituting the sense of cooperation that was present from the early days, with sudden fierce competition and conflict in a whim? A lot more thought and build-up should have been put to this event.

Conflict = good; lousy implementation = teh suxxor.

I just can't help but wonder if somewhere a grim and angry hobbit is writing wall after wall of flaming text to right the wrongs of Middle-earth? :D

Yes you're right he did. Damn him for being a master jeweler at that time, he was sooo hard to kill, almost everyone else back then had average jewels and I had memorized each Kami's weakness. Off the top of my head, Itsmagic had poor poison resist, BlackKnights weakness was shockwave and Downdales was fire, and both Fasi and Brithlem could really only be touched by electricity. As for me..well just look at me harsh and my jewels failed and got me killed :P

I enjoyed the very start and an equal amount the very end. Protecting Anissa digging amber was fun and an almost rp'ing break from just running around nuking all and sundry. Kodel was lvl 50 in dig at that time, I had an alt called Jerle which was 125 but Ep2 made me start digging/crafting with Kodel because towards the end there were PvP 'quiet times' when no one was really around. I didn't want to be out of the action in case a decent fight started, so I started to level dig in the zones themselves. I started to dig/craft in Ep2 and from that or because of it I mastered both lake and PR dig, and both amp and all 6 trees of jewels. I guess I would have gotten around to it eventually but I feel Ep2 opened up the full game for me. It's a shame it caused alot to leave, maybe a more gently gently approach to PvP in Ryzom would have resulted in a better outcome to get everyone used to it..maybe not.

I so badly hope this game starts up again because each day I can't play it makes me want to play more and more. No other game I have yet seen has such a 'level what you want' system. It would be a crime if this game died :(

I can say I think it's the best out there :)

edit: considering that J doesn't need to moan about the other game and state of Ryzom being what it is, the joke is on somebody else entirely now...
