I have a SoR account, but my CC expired and now I can't reactivate.
I'm logged in through this old free account I had before I bought the game. I had the original CD & key so I started a new account about a year ago. The cc expired a couple of months ago, but I didn't realize it for awhile.
Now that the company is in bankruptcy again it won't let me activate. I hope this game isn't going away, but it if it does I'd like to take a last look around with my real account - I have character on the mainland - and say goodbye to the friends I made here.
How can I activate my account
Re: How can I activate my account
i am unable to reactivate my account also i went on a deployment thru the military and when i came back am also unable to use my account please offer some assistance
Re: How can I activate my account
At this time there is no way to reactivate an account. You can still buy the boxed CD and use key on it (gogamer.com is a good place to look) But the key can only be used on a new account.
Good luck

Sadly there is currently no approved method of re-activating your account, but as people have said, you can use a boxed-game code on a Trial account to get it to the mainland.

How do they expect to make any money if noone's allowed to join? That's probably one of the dumbest things I've ever experienced, no lie.

Check the latest news item from early october last year...capn123 wrote:How do they expect to make any money if noone's allowed to join? That's probably one of the dumbest things I've ever experienced, no lie.
The only MMORPG in which you bash each other with wooden swords exclusively.
Re: How can I activate my account
Yeah what I'm seeing is that no new players are allowed to get access to the mainland, and they've stopped the billing system entirely. They are making no money, which doesnt help their situation out at all.
Re: How can I activate my account
Well they can't make money as there is technically no owner at the moment. We all will just have to wait and see what happens.

Re: How can I activate my account
Hey..I am not a new account and I can't log in anymore either, but I am guessing that the servers are closed or if they aren't then I should be able to log in as I was paying for it but then it is now March 2008..if anyone is still playing let me know how as I miss the game...and the guildies (saddly the guild closed late 2007 when RYZOM whent into "free mode")
Re: How can I activate my account
JUst to add also...I joined RYZOM mid to late 2006 ...couldn't play for awhile...forgot password (DOH !) tried to get it back let it go and tried again -- no joy--thought support suked....created a new account thenoddlty enough support come through and hey, I had my trial account back,oh well was playing and paying by this time and totaly imersed into RYZOM..I now look back and should have made a greater effort to get the game up and running, but I wasn't to know.
One thing I do agree on and that is the community aspect, makes you feel at home, though you get your occasional "hero" but I found RYZOM had less than other games, I found maybe two in all the time playing, and they were only newbie(ish), soooooooooo I miss the folks I played alongside, not many sorry, I tend to be a loner, but l the guild I was in was great, all willing to help the "newbie" it was the "Pyr Militia" (think thats the spelling) ........hope to see RYZOM back I still have my videos and pictures I took so I got some memories..
