Yep, Arispotle crashed and is down anyway. Aniro and Leanon are fine at the moment *touch wood*

But, maybe they´re just not allowed to tell us who´s going to start new servers next week? ;)

Merging the servers requires quite a fair amount of work and I don't see how it could be done, as things are now. There are no developers, admins, or simply put, available or dedicated resources. From GF, we can't even expect a "go press the reset" :rolleyes: ... so go figure.

A server merge could require integration or work at both the code, architecture and configuration levels, including quite a heavy amount of data merging and database stuff (although maybe the architecture unification for the ring blah blah simplified things...but even if it is a running a stored proc, no one is going to do it)

A character transfer used to be something that you requested to a GM, a ticket was submitted and some developer did it. And it took time...
