Can't even download the game

i'm having the same problem, spent more than a week working on it. have come to the conclusion that i will not be able to download untill server #1 is back up and running. i am in the usa and think that server handles the usa

have you changed C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc\hosts file and added "91.121.7.176 dl1.gfsrv.net" to it and removed all other lines that have dl1.gfsrv.net ?

An update - From the hotel I was staying at I could not download Ryzom, update and log into WoW, or log into Runescape. I asked them to unblock ports, but they say they don't block anything.

Now that I'm home, everything works and I'm downloading Ryzom. It seems to be downloading fine using the (unofficial) Ryzom Download Manager.
