i downloaded game, registered but i cant log in it says error code (1)

i have a question... why you can't make patch or somethng so we can be able to play game?!?!?! How can you dont know to do it there is billions of mmorpgs and this is ONLY NOT WORKING MMORPG...

error code 1 means that Ryzom cant connect to login server.

link from sticky gives another link to that Error Code 1 - can't connect.
it might be firewall or it might also be that the version you downloaded was too "old" (tho, "new" version came out almost year ago). if you downloaded from ryzom.com site you have "new" version (and the servers are still up), so that only leaves firewall, recheck that too.
