Cant hit play

Hi, im new. I just created my character and then it brought me back to the char select screen, where i picked my char i made and then hit play...the screen faded to black and then came back to the char select screen again and everything was lagging...so everytime i hit play, it does the same thing...any help?

Because the game is currently lagging drasticly, I have clicked play and screen went black then I was back at the character selection screen again. All i did was click play again and I was in.

The lag is not your fault.

I've done some ping tests and it may be a problem in a link between Germany and France, but it sure looks like someting else....
