This world still has so much more left to tell, and each of us is our own story, ever being written. Let our pages clash together as we cheer on the Ressurection of Ryzom! Make some noise! Let everyone you can tell know that we want our world to survive and thrive! And we /will/ have a rescuer.

I´m with you

Folks, I just can´t realy understand all the doomsaying around here lately.
I can remember a time, not that long ago, when those whos said Ryzom would die were laughed at, or at least scolded a bit for their ill words.
Now it almost seems the other way around, people are looking for new homes and everyone is certain that the Game IS going to die and those few who try to caution and keep up at last a small measure of hope are laughed at and/or ignored.
And do not tell me, to be be "realistic".
It´s neither "realistic" to declare a Game dead before it has realy been switched off and the last lights go out.
Doing so just helps it dying, by deverting people from it and driving of the players that normally would have supported it.

The dice have not fallen yet and it´s not over ´till it´s over!

IF it all comes crashing down, you may glady throw all your spite at me and tell me "We told you so!", but just for the Hell of it, I´m not going to join in the choir of those shouting the game to death.

And even if it sounds corny:

At this point without a serious bid the Ryzom.org project has a great chance for success - meaning Ryzom will survive alright but simply won't be the same. Considering the chance as a guide I'll assume ryzom.org succeeds and Ryzom will end up being distributed throughout the internet with several developers launching their own versions.

If such were to happen I too would be one of the guilty developers trying my best ^.^' So yes Ryzom will survive either way but it just may not be the same.

Come on dude! If you love Ryzom, the community, and all the fun times you have on here, you'll want to protect it. If you've got something to protect, you can't sit on your tushie! If we want to keep this game alive, WE CAN! But you're only going to get out of it what you put into it!
