you said players whined because of lack of content - content is allready there, GF just dont bother.
you said players can be creative in the ring - ring is too limiting, GF cant be bothered to add the 1-2 small things that would really open it up.
you said GF are a buisiness making whatever choice, theres no need to kill the game, they have everything at their fingertips so close to really boost it. But GF cant be bothered.
i have 2 accounts, ive payed my money. Now i cant even play on the mainland, wich i have payed for. GF cant be bothered to reboot the shards. just how lazy can they be?

well i was giving some evidence that GF is guilty, and yes of course its important, they're killing the game (on purpose??) and have put zero effort into it as far as i can see. maybe im wrong.

Liquidation is a decision because the profit can't live up against the input...for a second time.If u can't cope with the means given can u expect a company to do ?But u are not entirely wrong neither since mayb not all options were used.

GF is guilty in my eyes.
First on the list is no upgrades.
Second is no advertisements. I and many like me found this game by accident, downloaded it and loved it. If GF had put one advertisement a month in game magazines thousands may have joined. Then they could have, gotten to the -
Third, finish some of the never completed features in game, encyclopedia, some missions worth doing, etc.
As to the ring as some have said, the ring is like Las Veags, "what happens in the ring stays in the ring", that isn't game content for the masses. Why waste hours of gameplay to make a scenario that no-one wishes to participate in because they get nothing out of it?

I admire the emotional responses of everyone ,and they led to interesting opinions that each of u are entitled to, without being judged .
By being so harsh I got the answer about how dead Ryzom is ,nah rather how alive it is!!
Once again I feel warm and I am amazed about this wonderfull community where we all can be emotional,where we all show our caring by showing our dismay,satisfaction,reasoning but most of all our hope and will to make this game survive.By not hiding what we think and daring to come out for how we feel.

Who's guilty? The developers of Ryzom are guilty for making a game too unique, too deep and too beautiful to be appreciated by the masses.
The world we live in is guilty for ignoring value.
Game Forge is guilty of buying a game for obscure reasons, with no visible intention of making it profitable.
Is it important? No its not important, just sad.
As for the Free Ryzom campaign...i wonder if the "saved Ryzom" will be kept in its original form or altered beyond recognition? If thats the case maybe its better to let this game die with dignity and we keep the wonderful memories of it, which are in fact the true value.
For all its worth Gameforge allowed us to enjoy Ryzom in its original form for one more year, even if this was just a side effect and not their intention, im still grateful for it.

I also would love for a company to come along with real drive to make Ryzom shine even more like it's been bursting too bloom. But I also hate to see great things die a slow sad death. I don't believe that even with the good intentions that Free Ryzom has it will help it. I feel it would in the long term stop becoming the unique and great world I remember that it was.
