it should be noted my post was partly in jest.

The limits are being pushed further and further by both sides.

"Carpet bombing" would be come eventually the only way to win, and ultimately loose.

None of it, actually.

twina wrote:Too many people think leveling is a bad thing - but each person gets from a game exactly what they want...
Agreed, my point precisely.

My friend the powerleveler gets great joy from doing just that, and I think that's great.

I'm way too unfocused to do it, and wouldn't enjoy it as much anyway - and I think THAT's great, too.

There's an old homin sitting outside the stables in Zora who levels far less than I do - and I think that's totally awesome.

The roundabout point of all this being that catalyzers are not necessary to the enjoyment of the game, ergo OP domination does not spell the end of the world. Even for power levelers. Like the original poster. If anyone still remembers or cares how this endless thread got started.

funny, when GoJ attacked their first op...they refused the GvG offered by the defender (Riders if memory is good), funny how things can change.

And if 3am is your only answer to an attack...go ahead :)

the Riders on the Storm did challenge GoJ for a zori OP, and atr the time they informed RotS that they were not anywhere near strong enough to defend a q200 OP and that they would not accept the challenge, I wonder how things would be if they would have and RotS would have won, mabey GoJ would not have become the power they are now and Riders would be there, and then mabey the KA would have more of a challenge on thier hands, but allas they did all they could to hold the kami down and now GoJ is the force on atys, i believe given to them not earned though. i mean look at how many ex kami belong to them now...
would be a whole different atys if they would have accepted a GvG challenge once upon a time, but i guess its easy to gloat once you've been handed all the power without all the hard work behind it

lol bullcrap Brock

GoJ is what it is due to the hard work of the leadership full stop

I remember when I was in KoO they kicked my ass out of gu-qin,

you guys are so full of bollocks, do you really believe what you write sometimes. I was being nice saying we would accept a GvG like I discussed with nitross earler, wasnt a boast, wasnt winding anyone up, just confirming what I said earler.

Riders were once the force, but guilds grow and fall as you well know, GoJ had no chance against RotS at the time, like you wouldnt stand a chance now. Nexus however would, and we do it out of mutual respect not "oh look we so uberz"

at the time you were a Kami and we weren't looking for Kami support, we were looking to get an OP that suited the needs to grow our guild, much the same as GoJ were doing, but we had the ambition and the drive and the desier to work hard, level and fight for something to cal our own, and the GoJ took the coward way out.

don't deny it as noone can , we fought our hearts out against an entire alliance with only our guild. nobody helped us, we wouldn't accept it, we wanted the pride of victory

get the hell off your high horse with this because GoJ was litterally handed the success they have now by the KA fighting for them when they held an OP well out of thier league and at the time Riders were not a force but an up and comming guild with 30 active members who were working their asses off to accomplish something. but were squashed by an entire alliance

if you look now at the history that attack not only took the wind out of Riders sails but it infact caused our leader to lose so much for the game that he quit not long after, leaving the Riders in disarray and they slowly crumbled and are no longer even in existence.

all actions result in consequences whether they are good or bad. way back when Riders could have been a force, we had the numbers and the heart to do it. we could have, with the help of the Kami after a firm solo victory changed the tide of the game, restored balance between Kami and Kara, but instead were dropped like flies by the KA almost like an example when we were more looking for a sporting GvG in our homeland for something to give our Guild the small push it needed to go to the next level

so don't pretend that you know what the hell you are talking about and that you had anything to do with the past event for this, because things would be a lot different now if GoJ weren't too coward to fight back then
