What an excellent evenings entertainment, it was great, especially going to Hideen Source after two years years or so.
I remember doing my first trek through there, as a young homin, in awe of the higher level elementals and healers protecting us and in fear of Cuttlers, Kinchers and Torbaks, But now being able to trek through there with relative ease and security with just a few friends, it was a great feeling, even a sort of sense of achievement maybe
Thanks for a great night Trader

We still solved the riddles the fastest, and thus wonskifryan wrote:This was a very fun event, but maybe next time it will be less of a kamist-oriented one? I had lots of fun until we found the bandit, then it turned into "Kill the evil karavan!." Being in a team with another karavan member, a neutral, and 2 kamists competing against 2 other teams with all kamists, it wasn't quite fair when we had to kill a karavan tagged player.
Hopefully the next event will be held in PR or Nexus.
Though yes i agree it was a little odd the way things went with regards to having to be tagged.
But all in all a very nice event, the clues were well thought out and fun was had by all
waiting for the next episode!
DOOMSDAY CAME =( =(

Thank you so much Trader for putting your time and effort into this awesome player event!
I believe many didnt participate because of the time it was held
Everyone was welcome, just happened more kamis off from work, school etc.
For all who couldnt make it, just wanna let ya know if he plans another one that the time suits you, definately dont miss it hehe!
You did a great job with the riddles and had us all working as a team to think it through...
*hugs* to your hard work!

Re: Player-run event: Treasure Hunt (RP-quest-trek-teamwork)
ooc/ A great thank you to all that showed up.
We had three teams - Team Yubo (Braveganzar), Team Kipee (Cenaeri) and team Torbak (Valda) 6 members each.
The teams were given a riddle (in this thread) and each team captain received a set of 12 clues in ig e-mail.
The fun started at the Kami tp, where team Kipee and team Torbak rushed off immediately and team Yubo stayed a bit to meditate on the clues
I tried to follow team Yubo for a while but got devoured by a kincher and had to spawn and watch the remainder of the treasure hunt through tells...
Team Torbak was having a lot of fun, visiting places they have long not visited and hunting kinchers, Team Kipee went straight to the point , guessing the clues one by one from first letter down, Team Yubo has managed to get the second word very fast but then had some troubles with the first one...
To solve the riddle following the clues teams had to struggle with aggressive tribes, Count numbers of pickled sarina seed sacks in tribe camps, look for named mobs and gaether slaveni buds and cuttler leathers... Their brains were working top speed and the cooling fans hardly copeв with the job
On their quests the teams have encountered a mysterious seer sitting at the top of the Towerbridge tower, she gave them missions that required a lot of strength and professiency aswell as knowledge of the lore.
Teams Heroically fulfilled all those missions and soon Team Kippee led by Cenaeri appeared at the spot where the stolen caravan was hidden. The caravan was guarded by a member of the Highway Clan - a fighter dressed in black. Seeing a whole team near he ran and was chased by team Kipee all the way to Hidden Source where Xtarsia almost got him Unfortunately team Kipee had most karavan and neutral players and only 2 were kami... This was the only reason they could not kill the bandit right away...
This was a flaw on the part of event planning I confess but alas I simply saw no other way of attacking a player in a neutral region other than using PvP tags...
After the chase broke off the bandit decided to return and have his revenge - he attacked Rhikko but was soon dispatched by Kaetemi who then became the hero of the day.
Afterwards all participants have returned to the place were the treasure was hidden and received their share of the prizes. Each participant in every team received a prize and heroes of the day: Cenaeri's team Kipee, Kaetemi, slayer of bandits and Brave who donated a lot to the prize basket where celebrated and rewarded in a special way
Thus ended the "Tresure hunt" that took no more than 50 minutes all in all.
I hope that all participants enjoyed the event and am sorry for the inconvenience caused by PvP tags to the kara players...
Get ready for my next event - A TRADING CARAVAN AMBUSHED in NEXUS that will come soon
It was a lot of fun for me to organize this and play it through with our lovely homins from both sides of the faction line
