Community OP

Post by sapunkster »

I'm new and have a few questions. I come from a strong pvp background and have grown to love the conflict of the pvp battles. I'm one of those people that love a good fight and will shake hands with the person that killed me after a great fight. From what i've gathered about the Community OP being, it seems like its caused more drama/stress than the actual battle over an OP, kinda makes me laugh a little but anyway. I have an idea on what the Community OP(outpost?) is but would like an actual answer to get the idea right in my head and figure out where i'm going to go from there. I'd like a guild with the same views as me but i'd like to know exactly what i'm viewing too ;)

Click here for an outline of how the community outpost was set up to work. Until recently, there was no drama surrounding this. It's a new development.

And, welcome to our giant root ball ;)

just to provide some perspective, which is kind of missing from all the other posts on the community OP project.

There are two outposts (used to be 3), out of the 28 active in game, which are specifically community outposts, providing a soup kitchen function for the poor drug addicted.......

Most of the other OP are fair game and arre being contest on a regular basis by the factions (alliances). Only a few neutral Ops have never been declared upon because everyone respects the neutrals. Community ops - the soup kitchen for the poor drug addicted :) has never been declared upon
until recently when it's manager decided to give away what belongs to the whole community (an OP) to a certain kami guild that helped the managers guild (also kami) in battle against a karavan Op... that's when the drama started...

Welcome to the rootball mate - I am sure you will find enough PvP here. Most if it wil be OP attacks/defences as well as supernodes (when very precious resources ripen up) and foragers come to gaether them, healers come to protect the foragers and nukers come to protect the healers, a few groups collide and the fun starts :)

There are also certain people who dwell in PvP zones and watch out for enemy foragers, whom they hunt down... Or you can just turn your PvP tag on and attack any opposite faction tagged player anywhere ;)

So all in all there are different kinds of PvP
and I hope you'll find some to your liking.

Have fun.

Alright it sounds about perfect for me then =) I was just more worried that Atys called an allover OP truce or something to take full advantage of the all the resources but it sounds like there is still plenty of combat going on. I think it'll be great for my pvp style =) Thanks for all the info everyone =D
