Problem with sound.

Ever since the last patch ive had a problem with my in game sound.

I get all game sounds as soon as i log in, but as soon as i move the sound stops, it takes about 5 to 10mins to get some sort of sound back ie i can hear the rain, but i would not hear anything if i was to hit some thing?

This goes on like it for some time, and than it seems to sort its self out for a bit, and than back to no sound.

I have turn the sound off, than on, still not right.

ive turned the sound on with out FX and than with out FX, still no joy.


I have a Creative Blaster Fatalty PCI Card.

Any one know whats going on? or is this a bug that i hope will be fixed soon

I don't have any problems with sound, maybe it's somehting else?

Everytime i have a problem, i usually re-install the applicable drivers; if this doesn't help, i search further.
Try re-installing your sound drivers, see if that helps.

I used to have this from times to times at the beginning until someone suggested that whenever I start Ryzom, that I should always make sure my mouse focus is on the main window and not the background downloader (the one that checks the integrity of the game files) that pops up ontop of it.

Never had that problem since. Could be just a coincidence.

I had that problem a while ago. All i got from support was to try re-logging, or maybe update the sound card (since the computer was less than 3 months old and built for gaming, was not that). Eventually, it worked itself out, sort of. Occasionally still get the sound loss, but usually during loading, so i just quit, reset sound settings in configuration, and restart.
