They are plenty left for a fun declaration and battle for an unsupported KA attack i count 16 - 1 (Phaedras Tears) = 15 possible targets. But attacker decided for an KA supported attack - well at least a target with KA commitment cause i don't see any prominent KA voices against this.arfindel wrote: Now Neva might be earnest and straight forward (one should always give this hypothesis a chance) - and if she is then the most allarmed about that should be the karas. Why isn't there any "fun in game" without attacking community OPs, eh? Because there are no many left.

I would like to commend the community for maintaining a relatively calm tone throughout this potentially flame filled thread. Please continue to discuss this at your leisure, in game politics are fair game and won't be moderated. Flames will

from what i can see because unlike Bgz some people dont care about the game being fun for others, just themselves and their side. granted thats not new, but its why you keep pvp and pve completely seperate.arfindel wrote: Now Neva might be earnest and straight forward (one should always give this hypothesis a chance) - and if she is then the most allarmed about that should be the karas. "In Ryzom, any advantage is reinforced over time. An advantage in 250 cats means one side can bring it's recruits to full strength in a much shorter amount of time. If we as little street kids could figure out a way to make their games more balanced, challenging and fun....I would think that a game company or even the players themsleves could come up with an idea or two."

Re: Community Outpost Attack
Someone (Neva) offers to raffle off an OP for free to the community and the Kami (Yaffle, one of the non-combatants listed as receiving mats from the community outpost) ruin thier fun by starting a fight elsewhere.
Now there will not be as many homins able to have some OP fun without the faction stress. What happened to "finally an OP fight as originally intended" I saw mentioned earlier... Too predictable...

thats all outpost battles are about, faction stress. thats why they are FvF. now if it was GvG like some have the made challenge for..... granted that was never answered.vguerin wrote:Someone (Neva) offers to raffle off an OP for free to the community and the Kami (Yaffle, one of the non-combatants listed as receiving mats from the community outpost) ruin thier fun by starting a fight elsewhere.

Re: Community Outpost Attack
Guild vs guild is an interesting concept, but does not necessarily lead to better or more balanced battles. Game mechanics preventing last minute 'recruitment' and other abuses would make it difficult for players to work out on their own.viper579 wrote:thats all outpost battles are about, faction stress. thats why they are FvF. now if it was GvG like some have the made challenge for..... granted that was never answered.
I wonder if Neva and Bgz would agree to make this one a Guild vs Guild... that would make it the second one I've ever heard about. First one I know of was Aeden Artisans vs Atys Ghosts.
Both guilds are about the same strength - but I think the Guardians might be outnumbered a bit by the npc guards
