Would you pay 50 Million for a Title as chosen by you?

Basicly you would wear this title instead of wearing your current one, but you would be bale to pick/chose what the title says.

You shouldn't be able to earn a title you create yourself. imo. Hence not having that option. Titles you earn should be preset, that way people know the trial you;ve gone thru to earn them

What's wrong with buying titles? So many already seem to believe that's how I got my Miss Atys one.


On a more serious note, buying customizable titles ... a big no-no in my opinion. Way to many people would use it create self-proclaimed grandness. I don't want to see people running around tagged 'Legitimate daughter of Jena', 'Heir of Dexton', 'Janitor of the Lagoons of Loria', 'True King of Matia' etc. Nor simply stupid titles that have no relation whatsoever to Ryzom.

However ...
I would not be opposed to titles that could be bought from City, Nation, Cult officials once the player meets certain requirements. That imo, could prove to be a nice dappersink.

I'm lacking an option in the poll tho; I would lean towards voting no, but don't think unique titles would really be a waste. They could add flavor, but I'd rather see them earned first and foremost, be it through meeting requirments or event participance.

OK voted no for two reasons:

1. dont have enough dappers atm :S
2. unless the choosen unique title includes selecting each word from from a pre-define list ;
(.eg. first word could be: Master, Mistress, Lord, Prince, Princess, God, Supreme, etc etc you get the drift)
i see this could be abused.

More so from people creating titles out of jest that could lead to accounts being banned or forum arguments due to players being offended and / or complaining because they are not privy to the playful intentions ment for the eyes of a select few; as twe cant forget these Titles can and are viewable by all passing homins.

Further to my example, i shall use <> around each word which could come from a predefined list:

<Mistress> of <Love>
<Supreme> <Lord> of <Kitin> <Domination>

This would stop any innapropriate words being used.

If so, then i change my vote to YES (pending Dapper funds of course) hehe

The way i see it is that you could put anything 'silly' as a guild name. There is a list of things you can and can't put. so why not have a list for titles?
