Is there a guide for skill editing and modification?

Hi guys, just like the subject says. I am new to the game obviously, but find the ability to edit skills with stanzas and the like to be a fascinating idea. I was hoping to find a guide/list/suggestions about it. Please post any links that I may have missed here. Thanks in advance.
