We also have a representative on Silan but only as part of a large newbie-helping project. Our guild only accepts those players that we feel are the most mature, friendly and polite (maybe that's why we are 40+ in general) but we let the new players judge us by our actions and always try to find out what's best for them... (e.g. if you are a US player we'd tell you about the server's best US guilds (cause we are Euro and the playtime gotta match) if you are an RP'er we'd direct you towards the best RP guilds...)

What you experience is indeed not very nice and not even fitting for a community like ours. But then again you judge em by their actions not words. If they do that - another candidate off the list of possible guilds of interest.

As for TPM accusations that have sounded here... TPM - The Pyr Militia are an honorable semi-Neutral warrior guild with a nice and friendly atmosphere that is really worth looking into. It has some enemies which is evident from this thread, but I can assure you that it also has many friends So don't listen to what guys from across the battlefield through at each other on forums - decide on your own.

people need to do what i do (did? .. i'm mostly solo guild now ) but you never know someone till you've hunted with em i say. if your sending invites to random unguilded people and you haven't even spoken to em for 10 minutes to get to know em, then your doing it all wrong. why are some guilds going for quantity over quality? what happened there?

we'd have no problems if everyone got to know each other before sending out random guild-invite-spams. also newer players need to not be afraid to quit guilds if they don't like them!! every single member i offer an invite to, i always make clear that they can quit at any time, no hard feelings!

--these are just some things _we_ can do to stop the spamming, but there will always be spammers running around sending random guild invites. guild leaders - i'm sure you know best what you want for your guild - take more care of who you put as officers and even MORE care of who your HOs are. this will solve everything imo... spamming guildinvites can ruin a guild's name for some - as someone pointed out to me when he refused my own invite - after 2 hours of fighting in team with my alt

I have alot of PCs but only two accounts, my toons are sami (a RL mate who plays with me alot of the time) and yaffle (aka kye my first toon).

I have karavan alts, is that not allowed?

I have my own guild and considering there is only 9 of us we are fairly picky about who joins, so i can safely say its not me spamming invites, the only guild titles i saw in RoS the last few days was TNE and AA but i was never asked to join a guild on noob island.

That was just a guildmember alt who likes to stay in guildchat. AA has a policy to never invite anyone on Silan. We only recruit on the mainland after getting to know the person. Personally, I feel that the devs should disallow guild invites on Silan.

Sorry if i was implying that you recruited on noob land just saying that it was a guild tag i noticed there.
