Dueling pre Outposts was far more skill based then now. The abundance of boosted gear and Vamp weps often negates skill.-Kil

you forgetting so many names :) look how many people Seh hunted and killed in bounty week :) pirii and mia have my vote tho, so skillful. wouldnt like to meet posmo or final in a duel either :) Ani used to kick ass using alot of skill, Itachi the same. Ami and Mardock should get a mention also

been a while since there was a duel champ. would like to see an event too

Brithlem and the Infinity peeps should be mentioned too..Used to be a big kami pvp guild. They still hold the karavan in awe at the slightest mention of their name ;)

I have to say...Lots of really great player names have been mentioned. (but) I don't PvP much... when I did, I was most likely dragged out by Spiff... "Who's ready to go kill kami scum!"
We'd lose a lot of the time... But it was fun. And I always looked up to him when I was little. I'd so whoop him now :P

Even if this is a pointless thread... I like remembering my favorite players from the past :)

Most reasonable thing said in here.
Sun Ce, The Devil of Arispotle.
The Sexiest beast alive.
A living Legend.
Alpha and the Omega
&
King of the Universe
"So in a few moments Sun Ce had disposed of two enemies, one crushed to death and one frightened to death. Thereafter Sun Ce was called the Little Prince.!"

I wouldnt put myself in the "best 1vs1" bracket at all, I very very rarely 1vs1 as I dont believe a massive amount of skill in involved, more luck and levels.

I've also been owned many times more than I've won in 1vs1's mostly by yaffle/final/fasi when we'd run out of karas to kill back in the day.

My votes for kami are yaffle/final/fasi (biased I know) and karas I have not done enough duels with to know.

for group PvP I wouldnt say I'm the best but I aint bad for sure, just ask those poor kara who had to hunt me+team at the festival of light :P . My No1 team would be old Infinity where just about nothing could bother us, KoO was pretty cool in Yrk back in the day though.

for OP battles I'd vote Aaj and Seh as I've been alongside them and against them and know what a pain they are, kami in OP battles..........none outstanding in my mind but alot might have changed

guess the atys champion will tell us the best 1vs1
