Amd Athlon XP Mobile Barton 2500+@2400mhz
Gigabyte GA-7N400 L1
1GB Kingston HyperX (dual channel)
80GB Seagate Barracuda IV
40GB Seagate Barracuda IV
BBA 9800Pro@ 390/380 Cat 3.8
Soundblaster Audigy
WinXP Home SP1+all current security updates

Now the funny thing is, if I fresh boot and then play Ryzom I can play for hours upon hours and not get a single crash/reboot. However if I play another game or quit ryzom and relaunch it, I get a crash after about 15 mins of play. I suggest others try this out aswell to see if it fixes the problems for them too, but I still digress, having to fresh boot every time I wanna play is kinda annoying but I'm willing to put up with it because it fixes my crashing probs.

In about a month of play my game has locked up twice and crashed once. It's very unlikely these are overheating problems, if that is what someone was implying on another thread. Dandra8's description sounds like memory leak issues, but there are a number of other possibilities, too.

Pentium IV 2.4 GHz
ASUS P4B533-E mobo
512 MB DDR-RAM (the brand name is escaping me at the moment, but I think I bought Mushkin)
ATI Radeon Pro 9800 256 MB
Quantum Fireball 30 GB hard drive
Western Digital 80 GB hard drive
on-board sound (don't laugh; it's good sound)
on-board Ethernet connection

Make sure your memory sticks are all the same, same size, speed and manufacture. Turn off any overclock. Turn off any programs running in your system tray. Run Ryzom Configuration and choose Direct3d as your renderer. Make sure all your drivers are up to date and your windows has been fully updated.
