IRL NA - PHASE ONE - Location, location, location

Yeh, it's 250.00 an hour so for 2 days at 8 hours a day that'd be 4 g's. I need to call the store directly, to see if they are willing to install Ryzom on all the machines. The store I go to has about 40 machines I think.
Even with that, reserving one day for playing and spend another day or two at a hotel conference room with organized talks and stuff would be awesome.
We could have seminars on PvP, digging, crafting, all that cool stuff.
This might sound crazy, but I could easliy set up a donation through paypal account and show accounts of how much goes in and when we reach the goal.
If this sounds crazy, let me know , but it'snot impossible by any means.
Leala also suggested just renting PC's, which might be cheaper, and do the whole thing at a local hotel convention room.
PS: Also keep in mind that alot of players play on lap tops, or have laptops they can bring, to help lessen the financial load. Im going to call hotels and stuff and will post numbers soon.

Greetings everyone... I'm baaaaa'aaaaaaack!

I apologize for simply dissapearing off the face of the earth... however... real life dealt me some seriously unhappy blows, and it has taken me a long time to get back to "center" again.

Anyway... I would really love to see this event happen, though after my sudden and rather unannounced departure from Ryzom, I am not sure I should really involve myself in organizing it again... I am still downloading the Ryzom client as I write this. lol

But, I have renewed my subscription, and I do intend on returning to the wonderful world of Ryzom, and if I do not end up organizing the event I will certainly help where I can.

I hope everyone has been well since I've last been here.
