As for the fixing of broken things (such as 1H and range) -- that is important, but it is NOT new content nor anything that will keep older players around. Given that there seems to be many older players holding community together, you'd think marketing might want to think about that.
That statement about marketing gets me thinking -- where is it? I know GF have advertised in their other games (or so I have been told, I cannot verify the accuracy of those reports) -- but as a whole...I hear nothing about Ryzom on the internet. Not a whisper, nor a shout. The devs should work on what they can get done, and it is up to their management team to decide what would keep people around (paying them dappers). But the game is pretty good already, if we want new people and a continued existence -- we need to advertise. I liked the recent post about a banner contest -- I believe we as a community can really help out
