Ryzom 14-day free trial from Gamespot?

Hello to everyone again! It's been awhile since I've travelled to Atys. Real life kept me from coming back.

I ran across this page at Gamespot.

I registered and got me a 14 day trial code from them. Is the code valid? I haven't tried the code yet because I'm going on vacation for the month of July. I'll try it when I get back. In the meantime, someone else should get a code, try it out, and report about it here. If Gamespot's Ryzom codes are still valid, it would give newcomers a chance to go to the mainland and see what it's all about. I'm so excited to try my code that I wish I had a powerful gaming laptop I could use on vacation!

There is no longer a 14 day free trial. Ryzom now has a unlimited time free trial of the tutorial island. Please download the latest version of the client here. Hope to see you in game when you return!

So if I enter the serial code I got from Gamespot, it's not going to work? I won't get 14 free days to explore the mainland?

That is correct, the offer you found on Gamespot is very old, and the download doesn't even connect to the proper servers. There is no longer a 14 day free trial of the mainland.
