Unfortunately I'm at work at the specified time. The question that bugs me the most:

Can you comment on the alarming rumour that at least one of the GMs and one player have been caught by Gameforge/Nevrax/Jolt on account sharing, months ago, and none of them were fired/permabanned?

I was under the impression, least ways many games do this, that GM's CSR people who go about regulating the flow of the game, are NOT permitted to also have active avatars while they are GM's..
Ok..
The reason being anyone can come up and CLAIM impartiality at later date.
It does not matter if they were partial or not, they can still claim partiality.

and for that reason alone it is NOT permitted.
This last chat, from some of what have read so far, and from what have read on forums, AND from what have seen in game, are perfect examples of those sentiments.

One individual, if not a Guild Leader IS an HO in his Guild, while at same time is a CSR in game. Of this he is a long standing player of the game, in his faction as well.

Appears also he has been accused and dismissed as CSR prior to for sharing his accounts. On this do not know. But what accont was shared, his personal account, or his csr account..

Dont you think how great it would be, to be able to show up at an online game party. And pass info back and forth from sides looking on one side and passing to other sides.. no surprise htis from scouts..no fake them out here and go over there, because the other side already knows it is a fake out..?

These are a few of the reasons why those practices are PROHIBITED..
Because if the possiblity exits that it could happen, somone sooner or later will do it.

This is a game, people are always looking for ways to 'get over' on games.

most valuable aid to the members of Atrys, ARE the members who volunteer their time. They have the in game experience to KNOW what you can do what you can't do, when something goes wrong, then you can generally ask them and they can answer on the spot from expeerience, because in past many times CSR's or GM's were not online 24/7, after all when you have something else to do then you have to do that.

But maybe is time for that to come to a halt.... Maybe to prevent these accusations, and insinuations put it to a halt.

You CAN monitor what a person does, you can check all of his/hers chats, and tell most everything they do in a particular time frame about a certain event... just you CANT tell what is in the persons mind while they are doing it. If the person is BIASED in making his/hers decisions, you cant read what is in his/her mind.

Ys you can follow his messages everything sent from his comp to the game, can be logged and flagged. But this is a game to be played as a game.
There should be NO need of all this spying on what goes on..
Just set the rule, if there is any insiuation or hint that you were or are in violation and acted in biased manner, fine that is it, your out of here.

that person is not around then they cant act in partial manners, and you dont have to answer to umpteen hundred questions about say that looks like that person was getting revenge..
Strange, in the meeting notes, I saw references that looked exactly like that..

Where 2 people did the same actions, one got banned, the other complained about himself doing the same exact thing, and NOTHING happened to him.
But is only my viewpoint. you will conitnue runnign the game the way you want, of that is certain..
ALthough many opthe games do NOT do this for those reasons..
Just a thought

Your thought is inconclusive, rambles on, and says nothing but the same thing over again, and what as previously stated.

The only valid point I see you are making is that you cannot tell what is in their mind when someone is acting on something. However, you can tell if they are acting fairly to the situation at hand.

If you want Gameforge to stop using volunteers, I expect that you do something productive and formulate a constructive business complaint. Identify the problem, explain the problem, and suggest a viable resolution with a little to no budget. And no, running no support at all is not a valid excuse for any MMO.

Locally yours.
