Sorry guys that I couldn't stay round for long. The puppy ismuch much better but still a HUGE handful. It was so cool to just go off with a group of players and talk about the weather and the cold. Sounds silly, but it really does add a dimension to the game, and it's so simple! We will be doing a trek every week I think, and like Sasi has suggested, we can meet in strange areas and have camp outs and stuff. This will be cool!]

(ooc... sorry)
GMT NEVER changes (as all clocks and time zones are off-set by it). So yes, while the east coast is still -5 hours English time, it is not -5 hours GMT (you're clocks went forward (as, of course, did ours)), and so it's -4 GMT.

Which all amounts to not much *perceivable* difference, unless you *have* to know times in GMT for various reasons.

Like being in the Southern Hemisphere, and not currently subject to summer clock adjustments.

The purpose of GMT is to provide a baseline against which any local time can be calculated, even if 95% of the game population lives within a six hour timezone window, it is still useful to announce events with GMT time stamps ;)
