To Thesos!

Homins! We all feel the need to explore, to move around a bit. At least I always do. Let's come together and move on to Thesos as talked about before. We will meet in Yrkanis, packers full of goods for the trip and to exchange with the locals, and mount up! Every'min is welcome!

OOC: This saturday, June 16th at 12 noon (central time USA) we will all meet in Yrkanis. We want to make as big a convoy as possible. We will ride to Thesos (surviving, no matter what!) and when we get there we'll unpack, and settle in for a while. Most of us have a very nomadic spirit, so we will move from this location within a few weeks, only to do the same later.
This would be a RP event! If you are unsure or even a little shy about roleplay, just come along, watch, have fun! The idea here is to trek to different regions, the treks being an event themselves, and to explore the whole of Atys! In Thesos we could all meet in the famous bar there, and hear a tale or two!
I will be posting GMT time soon, as soon as I figure it out.

Can 'ya give it to me in GMT? Even on the east coast usa, I have can only recognize time if it's given to me in GMT or BST

Can't wait for this event.

(FYI, I almost said 'you know how difficult it is for a newbie tryker to trek to matis, but wow...never thought I'd be thankful for that patch about where we can go).

Also, Yrkanis to Thesos is probably the 2nd easiest trek, outside of Pyr to Thesos

/OOC : Beau, Central time is GMT-6, Eastern time (for East Coast) is GMT-5, so if you make it at noon, it will be 6 PM for the GMT and 1 PM for GMT-5 Eastern Time.

A good question before the trek: how many bales should I load my packers and mount up with? I haven't much room, what with all the cooking utensils and sacks of dirty clothes. Anyone give a Tryker some advie before he gets himself killed?


OOC: Thanks for the info guys! I wish we had a "game time" that was constant. I guess that would be GMT. Hmm ok, making sense now. See you all there! Encourage any new homins to take part, since it will be an easy trek it'll be fun!

ooc: Sherkalyn, atm est time is GMT -4 due to the summer change thing. In the winter est is GMT -5, and in the summer time, est is GMT -4.

So, if Beau is indeed an hour behind EST time, then atm, he is GMT -5. Not even sure if it matters, I just feel like arguing the point.

I always thought UK was GMT, but it seems that UK is GMT+1 at the moment... so my evaluation of time is still right for the people of United Kingdom. I think it is very strange that we consider the GMT changing places instead of just the hours... more confusing than anything.

Anyway, it will still be 1 PM on the East Coast and 6 PM in United Kingdom, as far as I know. Crazy planet...
