Hummm, a forum section with only "Roleplaying" as title and no description.
Are we supposed to only talk about roleplaying in general or strickly related to Ryzom.
And if so, what specificly. A small description under the forum title would help to clear this out.

This, young fella, is where homins go to post in-character.
There are other places where strange beings discuss the workings of the universe, and make wild claims about manipulating Homins like they were all as gullible as Kami-worshippers, just playthings for ineffable powers.
Personally I suspect they have been licking the najab skins again.
but this is the one corner of the forum where people will talk sense.. Or at least Matis will, trykers will go 'arrr', zorai will talk stuff even other zorai dont understand, and fyros will talk stuff they dont understand themselves.

Roleplaying is a term, which describes acting "in character" or "IC". Essentially you ARE your character, interacting with other players, that also "play a role".
Example:
It's a sunny day on planet Atys and Bob the Tryker returns from his trip to the forests of the Matis people. Presently he rides his Mektoub mount to Avendale stables, when suddenly Jack, his old Fyros friend comes around the wooden building.
Bob: Greetings Jack. *smiles*
Jack: Oh, nice to meet you again, Bob.
Bob: How are you this fine day on Atys?
Jack: Very well, and how's you, Bob?
Bob: Same for me. Just returned from Yrkanis, and you wont believe what I purchased... *grins*
Jack: Don't say it yet. A green Yubo doll maybe? Or a pink ribbon for your cute Tryker woman? Or...
Bob: Heh, nothing of these. You wont believe it, when you hear it...
Hopefully my simplified, but also quite valid example gives you the idea what this section is all about. If not, you can always go ahead and read some of the older topics around here.
