Well, I've had this problem, and asked around and i seems many people have it as well. While the game itself is loading, it does it not at a slow pace but at a fast pace, stops for a minute or two, loads again and hits another wall, im wondering if this is a firewall problem? it also may be a problem with my possessor but i doubt that the computers always run fine and its chock full of RAM heres a few things that might help:
its got 6.86 gigs free currently
i use DSL
my video card is a ATI Radeon 9000
my current possessor is a Athlon (P) XP1700+ 1.47 GHz/266
and the chip set is a VIA KM 266
Id like to know what the problem is so i might be able to fix it and from what ive collected its a fairly wide spread problem anyone else who might have it ide like to hear from but um, ide like to know how to fix the problem instead of waiting on it to load like i do, thanks much.

How much RAM do you exactly have, a chuckload just doesnt say it for me

Re: Sketchy Loading
Some files become fragmented over time, most do not. Defragmenting the ryzom folder from time to time reduces loading times. This may not the reason for your problem but its always a good idea

Re: Sketchy Loading
ive got a little less than 7 gigs of free RAM, and the game was doing it brand new from downloading
Re: Sketchy Loading
7 gig RAM? thats virtual RAM i suppose? Problem is that it loads dodgy for me 2 but im on 512 RAM so thats no wonder

Re: Sketchy Loading
it might be virtual, but my brother filled the ram ports with as many sticks as he could buy but nonetheless i doubt RAM is the problem it may be firewall i dunno if anyones tried addressing this problem before so ill just look for a solution myself lol
