I recently arrived in Zora, and after running around doing some odd missions for people, I came across the mission that initiates the encyclopedia.
Since then, I've been looking for missions to further my knowledge in the encyclopedia, but I find it hard to get the right missions. Some various questions follow:
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
Is there any way to determine if a mission will contribute to the encyclopedia before taking is?
Will only certain types of missions trigger an entry (IE a delivery mission will never contribute)?
If a mission from an NPC triggers an entry, will all of the other bubbles need to be filled in from missions given by the same NPC?
Will only certain types of NPCs trigger an entry (IE a wandering hunter/prospector will never contribute)?
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
Any other advice, tips, tricks, hints, mechanics, or resources would be appreciated (I already know about ryzom.raum, but their encyclopedia section is very barebones).
Thanks guys!

sorry to dissapoint you, but enyclopedia in-game has even fewer sections.256bit wrote:Any other advice, tips, tricks, hints, mechanics, or resources would be appreciated (I already know about ryzom.raum, but their encyclopedia section is very barebones).
only 12 rites are online i think, 3 per race.
Re: Need some help with my encyclopedia
You may want to check http://ryzom.raum.com - there are marked there all rites that are active. I find very useful a good part of those 12, some are complicated and fun to do (only in some seasons etc.)
Still as I can see there are new missions under developpment. You can check it here: http://www.ryzom.com/development/in-dev ... -missions/

As already said, the list on ryzom.raum is pretty much it for active Rites/encyclopedia entries. Hopefully GF will address this and give us more in future when they add more missions. The rites can be fun to do.
In general, you can find out which missions are involved in completing a rite by taking the initial rite/mission from the Rite giver (intendant, barman etc.). Only the working rites have the giver listed on ryzom.raum. So, for example, take the Rite from the barman and it will then list the missions you need to take to be in a position to take the final rite and get the reward.
Some of the missions ARE delivery missions, e.g. the required missions for the Imperial Dunes rite (which isn't working) are given by the messenger outside the bar - deliver a report, order and message.
